But i believe there will be a difference in shape,size and coloration in upp and low river that the reds are staying.


It is rather hard to maintain water parameters at ph4 bro! Why dont u settle at 5-6?

many had problems bring PH down....in olden days without PH lower....blackwater stuffs what do they use?
lemon skins, pineapple skins....
all these helps...

Tea...from your experience, can share a few things with us:
1. when do they start turning from no-colour to yellowish?
2. yellowish to deep-orange
3. and deep-orange to red.

assuming the fish turns red and normal development.

Ph4 is a little way too low....would cause your fish mucus membrane to wear....

Hi guys, if u remember the grand champion at the recent Qianhu competition, it was really red. But can u remember how it looked like when it took part in Aquarama last yr & took 2nd? It was medium orange with some "red pimples" developing. Consider the fact that it was ard 22" & the "redness" had just started?

if can gauge by one article, i oso got one example, that guy so goot that not only his red color deeper in weeks, even his gravel also from brown to red.

plus a keen eye in selecting a young red, water parameters, lighting and lots of TLC plus luck....
