Default Bad experience at LFS

Visited this LFS (Heisenberg Pet & Aquarium Centre) this afternoon located at Serangoon North Ave 1 BLK 154 and had a very bad experience there.
I was looking at the fishes there and the owner came to ask if I was interested in any, and I said no as I was merely there to look at the fishes with no intention in buying anything. Not Long after, to my astonishment, he said this to me in mandarin: "get lost, don't block my business".
WOW...is this how he should treat his customer even though I didn't Want to buy anything?
He even has the rule of no photography and touching of the fishes and tanks in his shop.
1 less LFS to visit for me now.

This is rude and bad business practice. Many a times I will look around without buying and then buy on other days. He should know this. Thanks for sharing.

I have walked into that aquarium a few times. Everytime the skinny man would follow you into the shop, gazing at you, as if you are going to steal their fishes. So far I was lucky they were not rude to me.

I remembered years back they specialised in discus, and the male owner patiently explained to me about the strain and breed of discus when I asked.

I have indeed bought some nice rhuykins from them before. Their price is not cheap, but some of their fishes are nice. They have a 2.5ft plat rtc. Last time I asked they were asking for a whopping 30k!!!

They were interviewed by reporters before earlier this year and they mentioned they would close the shutter in 2 years when their lease is up.

Neverthess, the shop keeper shouldn't have treated you the way he did. It is right for you not to visit them again.

Just to share. Today I went to C328 and the LFS at the adjacent Blk to source for filter media. The boss was very patient to explain the new filter media called Aquarium Münsteel (German made). I decided to try and bought a pack and also a box of Marine Pure sphere. Ask for discount and owner gladly oblige. Anyway have good experience there.

Bro, normal lah. I personelly experience it before. I walked in with a small packet of roti in my hand and start looking at the fishes. Not long later, he come up to me and say :' eating of roti in the shop'

I was and pissed off. I refluted him back : ' which eye did u see me eating roti?' Cannot bring roti inside? He still got the cheek to tell me will dirty the shop.
Because of that reply. I purpose take out my roti and hold it in my hand and slowly look at the fishes and he follow me behind. Since that day, I never stepped into that shop again.

I believe this shop should close down and not waste time opening. Either they have 'other business' support or the owner damn rich lor. No customer and still can open so long.
