My favorite spots :

Chilli at hong yun or kai garden

Black pepper at jumbo or hong yun

Personally I like Eng Seng Restaurant @ 247 Joo Chiat Place for black pepper crab.

They close early. If you cant finish on time, they may pull down the shutter and you eat outside.

although is nice but very yaya and expensive..

Hua Yu Wee (华友园) crabs rather nice, but limited parking...

White Pepper Crabs, I go for Sin Sua Ah Meng at Geylang and also their famous 3 Storey MeeHoon

Crabs Mee Hoon (soup style), I go for Don's Signature at TPY (near by SPH) and also their new dishes > Gravy type MeeHoon with LALA/PRAWN on Top.

if not .. BEST of the BEST is I pre-Order and buy Fresh Lively so call Double Shell Crab and back Home to just simply Steam it and eat

I play host to some overseas frinds at home of seafood.
Its halal certified and they enjoyed their crabbing feast.

Went for that famous Still Road crab about a year back.... and i must say, I'll never want to go back again!

Went at about 530pm and there was no queue. Even at 7pm, there are still empty tables. I should have taken que from that. Obviously, the regulars have all disappeared after their last try and the same applies.

The crab is lousier than an average Tzechar stall in neighbourhood areas and they charge $80/kg for lousy tasting crap. They are no longer worth it! Heard the chef left and setup one of the now famous seafood restaurant.

Those stay west side can try Ga Hock Seafood just opp Mindef.
Prepare to pay gst and no credit card payment for this alfresco style eating house.
