90% all due to water. a lot of times when i go to view/buy aros i'll see comm tanks of aros with chipped/deformed scales. worst cases some the scales already eaten through by bacteria until u can see the flesh. end up i throw into my tanks.. no medication no salt nothing done... scales all heal within a few weeks naturally.
