Did you do a nitrate test?
I too have money plants which grew like a "jungle" now. But nitrate is still above 60ppm after weekly 100% water change regime. Quote:

My 4ft, 60G understock tank with "Jungle of Money Plant", yet nitrate is still high if not for my weekly 100% water change.
