Henderson at right-back
It must be seven years since Jordan Henderson last played right-back but he’s settling in nicely. Getting forward at every opportunity, the Reds skipper gets in behind the Leicester defence only to see his cross cleared behind. “Corner to Liverpool… leads to nothing” as one of my colleagues would say.

A needless free-kick given away down on the right hand side by Robertson. The ball is whipped in and it’s not dealt with properly or cleared and it’s put back across to Maguire at the back post who puts the ball past Alisson.

The Reds have been dominant in that first half and controlled possession.

Leicester equalised on the stroke of half-time due to a chance pretty much gifted to them by Liverpool.

Work to do second-half.

Leicester with a dangerous free-kick put the ball across and Maguire is waiting at the back post unmarked, he heads it down and it’s a great save from Alisson before Liverpool clear.

Keita with a fantastic run to drive forward, plays the ball one two with Firmino and has a shooting chance - he goes down under a challenge and the penalty appeals are waved away.
