Actually it apply to all high protein food for koi. In Japan, they will stop eating when winter set in but in Singapore we can keep on feeding.

Too much good food is also bad for the koi health, so need to feed low protein food for a period of time.

Used the food for ~ one week. The below are the observation.

Pros
- Kois like it.
- Does not stink the water as much as Saki growth

Cons
- A lot more waste generated compared to Saki.
- Prawny smell a bit too strong thou during feeding
- A bit small pellets (< 5mm)

Colour and growth cannot see yet...

I have used FD Primo Plus but due to too many fishes i need abt 10kgs ( if i mix with Nipon sinking) a month so its too costly. Currently i am using SAKI HIKARY High growth sinking and my kois love it and growth rate can be compared to FDPP but more shit ...currently on my 2nd bag of 20kgs.

Whoa....10kgs a month, you have many koi in your pond.

I heard koi food have increase in price too due to shortages of primary ingredients to make the food.

I have got abt 40 pcs between 60cm to 96cm so they consume abt 15kgs per month.

Bro...my experience is that Saki food is good for growth.

But for preparation for show, not so ideal, bec koi became slim very fast during the fasting period.

I usually use saki mixed with sakai, and the last month before show fasting, will use Sakai only.

Bro, your 10-20kg a month is a bit too little for your koi...
I'm using 40kg for my 60 pcs.
and my largest is 70+ to 80 only.
