wool like substance on bichir
noticed this today on my bichir. got some silk like thread stuck on body floatoing uop. still eating ok. but will this go away on its own or do i need to medicate it? must i remove IT tankmate? thanks!

phone cam pics cannot see the slime. went aquastar, uncle said ph droppping, measured ph at 6 using test kit. now addeda teaspoon of their kh buffer.. hope it works.

ph 6 shouldn't cause this.
A ph drop could cause ph shock, the first signs of which would be fast gulping. I can't see this being a ph problem. |

bichir isnt gulping at all, just steady on his place. doesnt look stress.. just noticed that thing on his body..
