Just got my 80L tank running need to know what need to be done to maintiance the quality of the water ehiem 2224 filter 5 ryukin plant and sand thanks |

gf dun really need lots of media etc. just lots and lots of water change.

IMHO....
1) Don't overfeed 2) Regular WC 3) Good media with right set ups for your ehiem 2224 filter All the best! |

Bro, you can buy the Biohome plus also or the ehiem substrat pro too...

Supposingly Biohome plus is the best but most expensive for canisters and I'm using that now. The placement of the wool is important too.....fine/medium/coarse in that order...IMHO.

I have seen GF setups with only sponge filters but daily WC....I used to do WC every 3 days with OHF stocked with Mr Aqua CR...

Remove the sand brother, change water frequently, don't over stock and over feed.
