I usually start to introduce pellets when they are 2 mths old.
Small parents will produce smaller eggs. Nevertheless, they will still grow as per normal as long as they are given enough food and good water.

I siphon with a plastic tube connected to a air tube about 70 to 80 % twice a day. 100% when I do a major culling.

Bro, I mean the initial stage. Once you've culled out the obvious flaws, culling slow down and actually becomes quite difficult!
