Just read this about the palace game.
Pool invited 104yo lifelong fan to the game and then proceeded for 90 min to try and kill him. Funny in hindsight but I’m sure his heart was ticking on overdrive at times during the game. At least mine was |

Anfield Approach
James Milner has described what it’s like to be on the Liverpool coach approaching Anfield before a crunch clash. The Reds were treated to several special atmospheres en route to the Champions League final last term with fans lining the streets of Anfield Road. “I think on the way to the ground some lads do everything. Music, playing a golf games on our phone together to get the competitive juices going and looking out the window,” Milner told Graham Hunter’s podcast. “Then you stop on the way to ground and there’s people signing, on each other’s shoulders, flares going off. You can’t see out the windows then the smoke’s there, the smoke’s coming onto the bus a bit and there’s people banging on the bus. “That atmosphere before you even get there it’s like the 88th minute and you’re winning - and you haven’t even started yet!” |

Fab RIght-Back
Fabinho will play anywhere for the cause tonight, the Brazilian has confirmed. Either Fabinho or starlet Rafael Camacho are in line to start at right-back against Leicester City this evening and the 25-year-old says he’ll be ready to go wherever Jurgen Klopp sees fit. “Although we’ve got injured players in that position and Millie unavailable, we’ve got other options there with myself and Rafa Camacho,” he told the official matchday programme. “We know that we can adapt if needs be and the coach knows that we can play in these positions and that if he needs to call upon us, he can.” |
