A good start. Big improvement.
Just ignore other results and to continue build up the confidence, keep the momentum going. |

The shackles are truly released in this game.
The players played without fear in their eyes and the best part is our 2 central defenders also went up to attack, thinking it is high chance they get a goal. Never seen this happened for a very long time. Only when the team is going full attack mode can this happened, as I always seen in the other side of manchester, where their 2 so called ball playing defenders kept going into the opposition half. We have quite an easy run of games in this period, so better buck up and start scoring goals to close the gap. We are still way off the 4th place to qualify for CL next season. |

Its been a long time since we saw our team won high scoring game.
Can see the team played freely with more confidence. Hope to see AS and RL recover soonest to add more options in the front. |

Lukaku, unless he can improve on his holding and 1st touch, I doubt he will be in the team. Can throw him in if we need to win the match, but not any earlier or 1st team. He cannot hold up play.
If you look at the game, we did not hoof the ball and was always playing in little triangles. that is the way we need to play and not the typical english long ball way, |

It's refreshing to see the lads keep on attacking even when we're 'safe' ... hopefully they will not let this 1 match get into their head. There's still lots of work to be done ... then it's safe to say, we're moving in the right direction

Yes one match at a time. Since our problem is probably quite deep rooted, it is not going to go away so soon. I believe as long as the lads keep trying to change their ill-gotten mentality inherited from JM, we will surely be a force to be reckoned, if not for the remaining matches, then the next season.

Glad to see them attacking and not complacent when we are leading.
Good to have a selection of goalscoring front to give threat to the goalies. RL may be poor with holding but he is still lethal as a striker or goal poacher. One match at a time and get as many 3pts to the very last game. |

Even Jones passed forward instead of sideways. Young was passed by Murphy for pace down the wing many times.
