Singapore, Inc. will fail if there is a change of management ?? How would you feel, as the shareholders of a company, when your interests are being threatened by a CEO of the management team telling you "You replace me and my team and you loose BIG .."

Singapore Inc. AGM coming and as shareholder, you can put a motion in place and vote wisely ...
Well said.

Precisely!!!! This is what I'm most unhappy about the current Garmen
They draw sky high salary but the 3 very basic needs of the nation is totally ignored
1) Education cost Made SKY HIGH
India can provide free education,, free text books,,,free uniforms,,,free

3) Social Wealfare
I'm not talking about paying people who are abled body but don't work but those who really needs it...................
Fiaking $400 a month????? what don't they pegged it against the economy???? Just like the way they adjust their salary?????

I have posted this before but hope the MOD don't penalise me for posting this again but I feel that this is the current situation we're in

A son asked his father "Dad what is POLITICS?"

Dad said :-

* Look I Bring the $$$ home, therefore I am the Capitalist*
Your mother administrates the $$$ therefore she is the Government*
Grandpa watches everything therefore he is the Union*
The maid is the Working Class*
We all want one thing, that is your well-being, therefore you are the People*
And your smaller brother is still in his nappy is the Future

Did you understand that my son?

The little boy thinks and tells his father he wanted to sleep over for one night

During the night the boy wakes up because his younger brother produces something with an unbearable smell from his nappy and is crying.

As he doesn't know what to do he goes into the bedroom of his parents.

But there is only his mother in her bed and she is so fast asleep that he did not succeed in waking her up.

So he goes into the bedroom of his maid where he finds his father having fun with the maid and grandpa watching them secretly through the window!!!!

All of them so engaged that they don't realize that the boy is standing in front of them.

So he goes to bed again without having been able to solve the problem.

Next morning the father asked his son if he is able to explain with a few words what Politics is.

"YES answers the boy"

and says:

* The Capitalist abuses the Working Class

* The Union watches without doing anything

* While the Government sleeps and

* The People are completely ignored

* And the Future is in the shit

Probably we would survive, but will we prosper? Have you guys watched the political forum show on CNA? The opposition were rubbish, not sure of them leading.

No, it's all about bread and butter issues here ... they will flow the wind directions, as long as their livelihood is not compromised....It's all about one's survival and well being in this realistic world...

Can... surely survive... becos the ancillaries of a country are perform by civil services... and judiciary maintains law and order... not pap.

The whole pap party can take airbus 380 and crash into pulau tekong... all dead... and singapore will be running as smooth and as efficient as our 60,000 strong civil servants and the 20 odd supreme court judges, together with a president, that must see us thru.

If pap all crash... and the country falls into perils... then they should have died earlier... becos all they really care about... is blinded power... and nothing else.
