I think some planting substrate are meant to be acidic. You may want to check on that. Lovely xeno!

pH 7.8 shld be ok.

They color up nicely.

Are they as aggressive as those "normal" X flavipinnis ? I was tempted to get some but held back as those X flavipinnis I have are on the aggressive side.

Saw some at the LSF at kovan MRT ard...
Have the urge of setting up a 2ft tank for xeno nw....

Hi Ben,

Certain xeno species, like the flavipinnis & papilio are the more aggressive species.

I have 2 Xeno flavipinnis Red Royal kekese, being dominant in the tank, will haressed whatever new fishes introduced.

We just have to monitor them closely to make sure no major harm is done.
