OCS is xiong! But when you come out then life is good already.. well most of the times..
Anyways if you wanna CK, CK ASAP don't wait any longer. the earlier you do the better.. your medical review can be as late as 1 year later one.. see how CB they can be..

What I get from this?

well, I suffer a very bad lower back injury since 1982, til today, I am discharged but the injury stick to my back like leech in the jungle...

So, Safety number one when you do training...

The bright side?

Army train good soldier & officers, take your training seriously, you will not be only a good leader in army but definitely you will also sucess in your working life followed the army training...

Trust me, you will never have the impression how good to work with a person that undergo our army training... wait til one day..maybe 10 yrs down the road you will understand what I try to deliver here...

Decisive in planning, responsible & leadership by example is what we get in the old day, I enjoy working with Singaporean who undergo the same training & applied to his work after the army training..

OK, 10 years later you maybe posting the same message to those about to go for BMT.

Cheers, army is not that bad in my opinion.
had given away my tank setup and try to 重温旧梦。。。OMG, I missed my red tiger lotus!

found this post about my view on NS...am not sure if i should have the same thinking 17 years later.

年轻的朋友们,

恭喜发财,新年快乐!!

most memorable day of your life is your army days.. most memorable moments of your life is the toughest training days of army days.. when you think back these are the happiest, the most memorable and enjoyable days of your life...army life is tough but it brings great memory to your life, its a most talk about topics during chit chat time.. i already ROD.... i was in infantry support platoon, did countless times of ..ranges, charge hills, topo, road marches, dig trenches, river crossing, etc ..its tough and stressful but its very fun when you think back.. something you can't do outside your army days..
