I'm surprised by a few things. Although I've read that each duckweed has one strain of root that is about 1 inch long, I didn't expect that, collectively, they looked like fine green fur from the side-view. Awesome!

My GF don't seem to be eating them. They suck in a mouth-full and then puke them out as quickly. I hope overtime they will eat them.

Another surpise is how duckweeds has blocked the aquarium light. Areas underneath the duckweeds are now dimmly lit. I'll have to move some plants to brighter spots.

Overall I like duckweeds for it brings a different look to my tank, and my GF seems to enjoy playing with them.
bro can grow them urself mah

I've found a plastic fine mesh that I'm using to "grow" them. Actually, my intention is to block my fishes from eating too much. In half a day, my fishes have consumed 3/4 of the duckweeds I bought today. I hope with the existing pink aquarium light is sufficiently powerful to grow duckweeds but from what I've read... I doubt so.

I'm happy to note that now the bottom of my tank is loaded with green coloured poos. Them poos are chunky heavy ones! I think they are good poos.

That place you mentioned opposite 63 is Capricone lor, check with the ah Pek or his daughter, they are specialised in aquatic plants.
