Hi fong, I have hear about this issue and I have faced it before. If you do not keep the temperature low then you have to have a big tank or pond at least for them to swim about with not much temperature swing. Plankton feeding or not, is no issue as I have friends who keep them till 2 feet and feeding on pellet and brine shrimps. It's pretty much a must to have strong current as they seems to like it a lot.
