Found another tub gf keeper hehehe~

Anyway, my view for "submarine" lighting is: I think it makes the water temperature warmer than hang-over type, I afraid the changes of the temperature everytime may cause stress?

Basically, the setup is simple, neat and clean. The basic essentials are in place, a good start!!

The pump seems over powered for the fishes in such a small tub.

Two suggestions:
1. To remove the nan light and use a T5 or MH instead from above.
2. To use a much smaller powered pump prehaps something between 100-150 L/hr. And use a container at the bottom of the outlet end to reduce the current of the water gushing in.

Cheers!!!
Thanks for the advise.

Cheers

Bro,

Maybe i do too many testing in factory and thinking more siow liao. In my opinion, the change in water temperature change you refer to is the weather affecting the water.

Putting the lighting in the water, the light produces constant heat, this will also affect the water temperature, if weather is warmer, the temperature with the heater(light) with no control goes up even more.

Only things is that the light will prevent the water from going down to a very low temperature, which i think not too possible in sg temperature.
