4 to 5 inches koi are big enough to molest your mini goldfish. Furthermore, koi grow up in size faster than goldfish.

No no
Hi, small size kois is still bigger than mini goldfish. They can suck the GF eyes out and eat up the baby GF.

Got a rude shock today when i saw my pleco reduced to pieces of bones fragments at the bottom of my tank ! The only other inhabitants of the FGT are koi, so it must be the evil work of them. Can't imagine they have been together since young, the koi still never give chance to the pleco. So you see how aggressive koi can be...

I don't think it's a good idea to mix goldfish with kois even when they are small. The kois will eat their tails and eyes. Believe me, it will be a very sad ending.

u can mix them if the goldfishes you mentioned are streamlined like comets or shubunkins, but if they are fancy goldfishes then its a no go. other than competition for food, the faster swimming koi will stress out the slower moving goldfish. Also as mentioned by the bros your smaller koi will eventually outgrow your goldfishes and may cause more stress and damage to them. Gd luck
