Bro, is your tank 3 X 1.5 X 1.5? It looks small to me and your rays will get limited movement..

Bro your current OHF setup only has 2layers? Suggest you upgrade to at least 4 layers to accomodate more medias...

Not very sure on the flowrate of Dolphin 500 so unable to comment...

its dolphin C-500

think the flow rate only 500ltr/h or so only..

upgrade to higher ohf ah? would my dymax 2500 be able to handle?

Bro 4x2x2 is around 400litres capacity. Dymax 2500 is rated at 2500litres/hr which is around 6 times turnover which I feel is slightly weak...Maybe you can get a pump with a higher flowrate at 3200litres/hr.

haha yep.. seems like now is the topic liao

now i feel the water is moving quite fast from the ohf liao.. dunno if anything more will cause overflow or not.. usually wats the flow rate of pumps use for 422 ah?

try tom800. I used to use that when i got my 422. japan pump and like others said, add in more compartments. cos ray tends to poo alot.
