I had used rio hf also leak electricity then change to Quiet One by Lifegard twice but both spoilt after just a year plus. Change to eheim in 2009 now still running strong. Never try jebao.

Use HF for 2 years, so far so good.
Maybe It is never OFF? I leave my pump on even when doing wc.

For what size tanks? Eheim only goes up to 4500 l/hrs? Seemed too low for a 6 footer.

I used jebao previously, low energy consumption but doesn't last. My 2 units didn't go beyond 2 yrs. Now switch to a local brand by QH (can't remember brand off my head), 8000 l/hr at $120+, so far so good.

i m using RIo HF 20 too.
So far so good (Touchwood)

Compare to my previous Dymax 5000.

It's much more silent & Energy Saving. For the output, even though lesser but still sufficient for my 5ft tank as too strong will blow away all my substrate.

Tried few times that run in half dry condition, due to forget to top-up the last compartment water but lucky still working fine. I think it is because RIo HF is design to use as a Dry Pump also so can be more tahan.

Output wise, not really sure whether they are true to their claim...
For rio, got problem starting after switching off.
Never tried jebao.

Have tried Rio but the smaller pumps... 4HF and 6HF. Used to power OHF so seldom turn off. Around 3 years already - still running well.

Eheim so far never failed me.

Jebao never try before.
