Bro Aro77, so u are having the snails problem too I guess we got the snails because of the plants... though I remove the plants quite some time ago, the snails are still there... here is a pic of the tiny snail I have (maybe this one that I caught is considered big liao ) Are u having the same snails?

very funny , another of my FGT has a sudden infestation , saw at least 20 small buggers on the glass just now , both FGT do not share anything in common. they are very far apart from each other and didnt use net or anything to take out snails that may have been brought over by mistake
this fgt never put plants |

Problem is that they are in my 2nd and 3rd filter chambers where no fish inside...
Could it be just just like what bro Kenghua advised, is by the bird's poo? |

Possible the eggs were transported by plant matter or bird poo.
I have seen these aquatic snails in puddles far from any stream or pond. |

My infestation started in an indoor nano tank. Started a pleco setup with substrate, dw and some stone rocks without any plants. After a while suddenly saw one snail and next moment it starts mulitiplying non-stop. Also suspect that they don't need different sexes to breed. Could it have stayed in the fish stomach or hibernated in eggs form in substrate or stone?

Manual clearing is a losing battle. They multiply extremely fast and the eggs are hard to spot. Actually the snails are useful as they are also scavengers, so having them hiding in the filter is not really a bad thing.
