I kept mine since young in black tank. So far the colour on them look real good.

I have seen many variations, but still think dark colour is nicer for golds. Not necessarily plain black. I have some "wall paper" that consist of stone plates of dark shades, making the tank quite pleasant and natural. Of course lightings play a part too ... other than the background. All the best anyway .... your 7-footer set up already an envy to many bros here

it depends where u place ur tank...for me, if i placed it against the wall, i'll choose black, if i position in the middle of my hall(which i plan to

), i'll leave all side blank
