Best is close down CPF. So vote in a party will promise us that CPF will be remove when they come into power. Worker got more take home pay and employer don't have to pay money into worker cpf account. Win win situation.

Old people can have more money to spend and their money not being tie up in CPF account.

Look at other country, no cpf and their live is much better than singapore.

Actually CPF has it's purpose........especially in helping youngsters buy flats......we are only angry when they stop us from getting the rest of our money back at 55.......

Hmmm i doubt any parties will promise that! Suddenly, all e money in CPF is released. Whether there is enough money in CPF board to pay back everything? With the sudden flooding of funds, if any, can cause chaos to the financial balance in Singapore.

Remove CPF, employers need not pay CPF, will they pay us in our pay package? I doubt we get the full amount. Of cos businesses will be happy.

Objectively speaking. Without CPF, will we save as much, to pay for our downpayment of our home? Will we not be making noise abt not having enough to pay our monthly installment? Will we save enough for retirement? I doubt. I don't think we are savvy enough to save and invest. Maybe 10-20% can, but not the majority. I am sure I am unable to.

Countries without CPF. Their standard of living is likely lower. Thus they can get by. Also, many such countries has welfare system, that pays them when they are unemployed (maybe even retirement). It taxes the working lot.

Generally, I still think the CPF system is still a sound policy. I only ask that they stop their flip flop policy. Have a citizen consultation for 1-2yrs, hear Singaporeans out on what is a even more appropriate system where >60% (or 75%... can't get 100%, nothing fits everyone) are able to come to terms with the system.

They are digging the roads, built more residential estates, destroy nature parks and build malls. WTF for when having less dense population will ensure we have a better and more beautiful island. Packing in more people in the island makes us more strssed out and unhappy. So what if we have more malls and more roads? Will that make our lives any happier?

FFS we need to remove power hungry and materialistic administrators from power. We need to know how are they resolving the high cost of living, good transport system, high rentals and etc. There is no such thing as a one party parliament where questions cannot be asked and policies debated, where little girls who "don't know what to say" can get voted into parliament. If we keep voting them into power without opposition, it's literally giving them a blank cheque and we have a monkey run parliament that can do as they like, a good example of this was the White Paper on population. We cannot let this happen, and I hope members reading this can understand the importance of having an opposition.
