Talking PH meter qurstion.

Just got a PH meter and try to calibrate it.
After some try, give up on calibrating with the PH4 solution and just calibrate with PH7.

The reason being after calibrate with the PH4 solution. Reading always stay at PH5 range.

So it make more sense to only calibrate with the PH7 solution and put it to use.

Now the meter reading keep moving up and down and stable at PH 7.13.

Not sure if this alright as in the LFS, the meter i saw also moving up and down alot in every 5~10 second.

Lastly i like to know where can i get the soluttion that cover the probe?
Is it the same we can find in the first aid box?

I have similar prob as my reading keep jumping. U got any light or uv? Or other device?

Off all and see if stablished.... If stablished, on one by one, then u will most likely find the problem.....

Happens to me, but maybe, try no harm

The cost is around 2 blue and 2 red note.
I got mine from a small shop in CCK central, it infront of 24hr coffee shop but can't be seen from the main road.
However he left only the one with blue LED and without temp.

You PM me your mobile and I SMS you the pic.

It is AC type, so I often off it at night.

Just to update, the temperature going up is due to faulty sensor.

I replace it with a old sensor I had and now is working properly.

need to off meh? OK if that's ur style of saving electric.....
Can put a timer then on and off by itself....
Perhaps I should too....as day time no one at home. And sleep time no use.....

My qns is freq on off the ph meter will have issue? Be it the module or the probe?

Personnally, I don't think there is any issue.
As long the probe is constantly in contact with liquid.

Don't think the unit itself consume much electricity, just that in the begining wish to found out whether it requires constant calibration if keeping on and off the unit.
After that it just a old habit to off the unit when sleep.
