Types of plants/leaves I am feeding my crs

Hi all

Just to share the types of plants/leaves I am feeding crs. This a on-going process of giving my crs a mixed diet.

Leaves are boiled in hot water for a few minutes and then placed in ice cold water before feeding to crs.

Next up is mango leaves. Not all Crs will like it. The leaves are quite thick and takes a longer time to soften.

Those are alder cones which I bought from the states.

Is a food source for crs. Also it contain tannins and humic acids. Some hobbyists say it also fight fungal and bacterial infections.

Yup. You can purchase from eBay as well. One cone can last at least 4-5 mths. I read that some shrimp breeder use these cones to help in breeding.

Nice sharing you've there. Myself I am using cempedak leaves (smaller version of Asian Jackfruit), banana strips, pink guava leaves and the evergreen mulberry leaves from Japan.

So far I observed different benefits and attributes for different kind of fruit leaves.

Thanks bro. Not only my crs and snails like the spinach, my pet dog also likes it.
