5ml for 700liters... so 500 liters should be 4ml ... but usually I play safe by putting 10ml as sg water is always unpredictable.

if my tank size is 500ml, i will put 10ml seachem safe irregardless of how many percent of water change. Can't trust the pub for the amount of chlorine they use for the new water.

I dose 2.5g or 2.5ml for my 422 according to the dosage instruction on the bottle.

But what abt the requirement on the web ?

"Directions

NOTE. These directions supersede all other prior packaging.

Directions for 10 g and 50 g

Use 100 mg Safe (scoop) per each 100 L (25 gallons) as needed to reduce chlorine and chloramine or per 25 L (6 gallons) for ammonia. "

I don't bother about the web as not many people have access the web for instructions. I take the bottle reading as correct instructions. Just to take note... there are some batches that stated 5ml for 200liters. So read the instructions on the bottle for correct dosage.

100 mg = 1g? 1g is abt 1/5 of a tsp. I guess the dossage still correct as
using for 10g and 50g tank, should use 1ml for per 100 l

For other tanks bigger than 50g, I presume the g stand for gallons
Use 1.25 g (1/4 tsp.) for every 1,250 L (300 gallons) as needed to reduce chlorine and chloramine or use 1.25 g (1/4 tsp.) for every 300 L (75 gallons) for ammonia.

Any idea how effective this is as compared with Prime. It definitely looks a lot more cost effective. My current usage is $95 (4L Prime) which can last me 3~4 months at most.
