What pump to get for 5ft tank
I am setting up a 5x2x2 tank w 4ft sump for a xb w tank mates.
I wanted to put in a eheim 1264, but noticed that it is no longer on eheim website. Is it EOL? The tank builder can still get the pump for me, but will I be better off with a fluval sp4 or a eheim 1102(compact+ 5000). I am more concern reliability and replace-ability |

imo go for eheim, they are worth the $ they last for a very very very long time and are energy saving as well

I would still go for ehiem because of its reliability. But you may consider Sicce. Its an italian brand. Not bad too.

For me, a rough gauge will be Ehiem 1260 for a 4ft tank, 1262 for a 5-footer and a 1264 for a 6ft tank.. Am currently using a Ehiem 1264 for my 6ft sump tank as well...
