Under the civil servant may have a group insurance, a company benefit like a lot of us have in corporate. Beside this they must have their medisave and medishield plan, which is usually enough to cover for all the medical bills.

Actually, I do hope the government is paying for it, as his employer.
It will be good to have such employer medical policy.

Many employers follow govt policy here. Hence, the employers will start to give such similar medical scheme to the employee, which is for the benefit of the employee.

My side Tampines St.32 like no one care...that lady dun know always go where. Across the street, one can see that Desmond already now advisor to Tampines GRC and going block visit.

that portion on the "emoloyer's" medical/hospitalisation cum surgery coverage is silent.

Will be another 8-buck thing

all depends on the insurance being covered under the company. not likely employer will be absolving full.

Most Govt/linked companies have this scheme where they can top up for better coverage for themselves/family at a very gd rate

high profile garment office holder sure got shield plan with rider for As Charge coverage like our former health minister spend $8 only.
The only reason he went government hospital is probably more of politics.
