does he really have a case since the Enlistment act is enshrined in our Constitution? I think the Constitution trumps the Courts and only Parliament can make changes to the Constitution. I seriously doubt he will get his way because if he does, then a lot more PRs' sons will go down this route as well.
After he complete his NS, the govt should then revoke his rights and ask him to leave.

Precisely. There is no escaping this. Even more so for such a landmark case cos' if he successfully dodges NS, many others will follow suit and the government wouldn't want that. Plus when he goes in, he's gonna' get it a lot worse. Good luck boy.

Our govt has shown that they will bend over for our FTs so far. Let's see if they will do it again.

NS is only recognised in stat boards and all those ministry of blah blah jobs... not in private sectors.

This is the problem when u give new citizens child double citizenship until 21 yrs old.

PR can easily give up before NS start.

The issue here is the guy is Singaporean and trying to dodge out of NS.

The boy shd blame the parents lar...why never apply HK Citizenship backthen and get SG PR instead This was a wrong calculated move by the parents
