Sorry for your loss...
Did you manage to sue the catering company? Congrats on your new and bigger setup. Hope to see more updates. |

Nah. It was an accident. No sense chasing after someone for that. The old pond was full of design mistakes. Taking the chance to correct em.
The rebar wiring is going in now. The steelworks truck pulled up just as I was leaving for the office today. Concrete should be done by the end of this week if the weather holds. So much rain this morning. I'll take some photos this evening. |

BTW, for those interested in a full time inline dechlorinator, Calgon Singapore can supply a Flowsorb 55G drum canister that will remove chloramine from over 1,000,000 gallons of water.
According to the math, it is much cheaper to install one of these in the long run versus guessing on the dosage of expensive dechlorinator. Downside is that it is ugly to see in a home setting, and will need to be disguised. I was speaking to a sales rep a while back. Did not go through with the purchase as I need a pressure vessel type canister that is before the tap (and exposed to water mains pressure). The Flowsorb drum is a low pressure container that is meant to be used after the tap. |

Egads. So much rain lately caused a chunk of earth to fall off one side of the pit. Gonna need to remedy that before the rebar work starts.
