Lee Hsien Loong has one daughter – Xiuqi – and three sons – Yipeng, Hongyi and Haoyi (including the daughter and son from Lee's first marriage).

Ho Ching's eldest son, Li Hongyi, was the winner of the Lee Kuan Yew Award for Math & Science in 2006, the same year he was commissioned as an officer in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF).

Up & coming..........

i don't think LHL has that kind of power anymore to make his son the auto successor. this seems more like Taiwan's Chiang family than Nkorea's Kim family.

they will be a impt political family in SG, and the kids, listening to their father grandfather will have that influence since young. Its a heritage they have inherited, and along the way, one or two will have a over heightened sense of mission and history, and should he or she join politics will always carry the weight and expectations of the name Lee. a bit like a Ghandi in India….

I am not sore sure but definitely it is within the family's best interest to retain power either a direct descendant or a close and trusted relative. Among the Lees there are others such as the Kwa's and goodness knows a few other surnames.

Among them, several hold top positions in various organisations including LHL's brother and sister with TT as president. If LHL falls the House of Lee will find themselves in trouble retaining their positions.
