Nice design when adult. I cannot see the gills on the adult. The gills will retract in rich oxygen water like the salamander?

Its there if you look closely. See where the ending part of the gill cover. quite small as compared to the size of the adult fish.

I've been tempted by the african lung before...

But the lfs uncle was like... nice hor.. but need to keep alone one, unless u wan to wake up to a massacre, ask me go back and think if i wan to seperate the fishes. (like wad he did to me with the aba..)

But this one seems to max out.. smaller?

Some online info indicated that they top at 17inch.

So I think 3x2x2 can house them for quite sometime. Since they live a long time, it will take quite sometime to reach to over 1ft.

4x2.5 will be pretty ideal.
