Sorry, but I do not agree with your suggestion to extend the deadline.

In all projects we do, we need to set targets/deadlines. When the target/deadline is not met, we abandon the project and move on to the next one. Otherwise, we will find ourselves stuck in a rut. We are all volunteers and I do not want to waste our time...

Deadlines are meant to be respected. How else can we operate if deadlines can be extended just because we do not meet the minimum requirements or targets? Remember, the AF event team conduct Groups Buys, Seminars, etc , too and all these have deadlines, which has always been respected and we intend to keep it this way.

In this particular case (ie: the T-shirts), we have started it a sometime ago, from asking members to poll, vote for design , etc.... and finally to order. These weeks of awareness, plus all your hardwork posting in every single forum in AF have only yielded less than half the MOQ.

Therefore, I will be closing the thread as we are unable to meet the Minimum Order Quantity required by this supplier.

Dear all

Thank you for your support for the AF T-shirt. Unfortunately, we did not meet the MOQ required by this supplier.

However, I have since received some new supplier contacts from members who advised that these suppliers require a lower MOQ , provide competitive prices and may contribute to the AF Events Fund.

Therefore, I seek your patience, as I try to make alternative arrangements.
