Hi elimmel,

It truly inspires me to see u guys putting in so much effort in ur grooming. Well done! Honestly, u guys have done much better than me when I first started off in TVRs.
Juz a word of caution, if u wouldn't mind me I observed 'TVR2' & 'White TVR' which I supposed r the 'companions'; there's gap in the gills even when closed.

Long time no updates. But this time bad news.
Last week my son came back from school outing at kids kampong with a bag of longkang fish. See he so happy with his catch, I put a few healthy ones into my GF tub. Big mistake.
The LK fish got bigger and bolder and started feasting on the GF slime. I didn't notice at first but quickly removed them on Sunday during water change.
Added salt and hoped for a good recovery. Mon and tue still ok.
Wed morning TV3 & white TVRs up lorry. Just floating at the top in perfect posture.
Now hoping the rest of my 3 TVRs no problems and recover soon. Only treatment is WC and salt.

Bye bye my dearies

Ya hope so. Salt at 0.4-0.5%.
Don't like adding medication so hope the salt works.

Sorry to hear that. Longkang fish can carry lots of bugs, they don't earned their name for no reason. I would play safe and do a round of Prazi also, just in case 0.5% salt may not fully do the job. Prazi is very gentle to your precious but effective against the bugs..
