Arrow Old glass cover modification / making of new glass cover

Hot weather session coming very soon, I intend to modify 2 pcs of old glass cover to drill with many small holes for better air ventilation in order to low down tank water temperature.

Can anyone here kindly do inform me is there any shop in Hougang, Seng Kang, Jalan Kayu, Pasir Ris or Serangoon (near PetMart) do provide the service with reasonable pricing?

Alternative also can make 2 pcs of new glass cover drilled with many small holes for better air ventilation with reasonable pricing?

Thanks in advance.

5mm acrylic with 10pm holes cut out would be better.. As too many holes cut out on glass wil greatly weaken it.

Google for DAMA for your acrylic needs...

that is arcylic bro... shud be at least 10mm.
one thing good abt acrylic is that it will not break into shatters when hit with impact unlike glass.
bad is that it is nt as clear as glass.

I don't think it is a wise idea even if the glass is a toughen or laminated glass. Chances of cracking with slight mis-manhandling is high.

One more disadvantage about acrylic is it will sag overtime. I am talking about those 6mm thickness. Thicker acrylic(10mm) will not sag that much but the price is not cheap anymore.
