Apistogramma Cacatuoides
Hi all.
Would like to share my cockatoo apistogramma that I got them few weeks ago. The male. The female. Keeping them in a 5 gallon hexagon 'planted' tank, together with 10 Endlers (now left with 9) and 4 oto (now 1). First time posting. Hope it works. |

Cool, seems working. Let's continue the story.
Well, fed them with pellet food and frozen bloodworm at the beginning. The otos, to my surprise, like the bloodworm too (thought they should be vegetarian...). And I think they might get tummy infection and died (that's why left with one). Last week, I started to feed live tubifex worms. They like it and three days after I feed the live tubifex, I found this: Well, hoping that these were fertile eggs (it should be reddish in color according to information from the net). However, the next day I saw the female eating the eggs! My friends said that I stressed her by flashi~g lights into the cave... Well, it gave me a chance to shift the tank though. Will update more if I could. |
