Today I decided to clean up the 1st and 2nd of my sump compartments. To my horror, I discovered some white stuff and something like eggs on the lava rocks, the nettings and some even on the brushes. Below are 2 pics.

I spent few hours cleaning these away... I am not sure if the remaining compartments are infected with these or not, I will clean them in 2 weeks time. Hopefully bros here could advise on what are they? Are they the midges eggs or my goldfish feeder eggs? TIA.

can you show a picture of your sump tank?

would like to know whether your water pump is submerged in water or outside. Because i have an outdoor pond as well, but the problem i face is that my water turns really really HOT. im not sure whether is it the afternoon sun or is it because of my water pump (runs very hot as well).

I have since relocated all my kois and removed all the water. thinking of the next step to do.

Submerge pumps are mainly water cool, it's not surprise water are gaining temperature especially a larger capacity pump generate more heat.

high chance snail eggs, not those big garden snail but water snail
if that is the case,do no harm, your rays will love them(if you hv ray)
in a tank or pond,if you hv just a ray,you notice the filter or sump compartment hv thousands of water snail thriving, but you cannot find them in the tank, because those are delicious food for rays

Bro Relax, thanks for the ID. At least I know what are they 😊
Are they some FOC items that I had got unknowingly from you? Lol...

Bro Jyn1989, my water feels warm occasionally too... even though at this period of the year, there is totally no Sun at my pond area... I do not know what is causing the water to feel slightly warm, not hot.
The pumps are submerged in the last compartment. Is not easy for me to go over there as I had plants along the chambers now...

bro....water temperature will follow the air temperature even if there is no direct sun light.

pump definitely will increase the temperature, so depend on vol of pond. maybe 1 degree diff?

concrete get heat up by sun will transfer heat into the pond too!

I used to have a pond on average 30-33 degree, even at night....
