[Need Help] Reinforcing Filter Overflow Mesh

Hi all,

I have a 5ft tank with a sump filter system at home.

Had the tank for 12 years now and never had any problems with it. Recently, my fish passed on and after we got a new fish, we found it dead in the filter after 3 days. We never knew that the mesh at the overflow area is insecure.

I am looking for someone who can help replace it with a firm and strong acrylic piece or something to reinforce the mesh.
