Sorry to hijack this post, I would just like to ask a question. Is it possible to keep 1 aro in a 4x2x2? Since 3 will outgrow the tank in 6months, will 1 outgrow the tank?

IMHO , at least a 5by2.5by2.5 should suffice for one aro.

For 422 , the width is a little narrow for turning.

Bro, juveniles are exceptionally jumpy.

Cover the tank properly 24/7.

Sorry on your loss.

Sorry to hear your loss. Why don't you take this chance to sell off one of them and just keep one? While I maintain 422 is not enough for one arowana, but it will be even tougher to keep two in 422(Will fight soon).

Even with some other tankmates, two will still fight ???

Ya, was a mistake not to cover the gaps.
Lesson learnt and pack it well with additional filter ensuring no more gaps anywhere ...

Bro, for the time being, you may add a wave maker into the tank to defuse the fight between the two juveniles.
