Bro DragonFireSG, do you have measures to protect the fishes from the Haze for your outdoor pond?

Dilution and KH maintenance should help lots.
When changing water, we pump out the dirty water before filling back as opposed to pouring in fresh water and relying on the overflow since the dilution effect means a large proportion of the fresh water will overflow out with the dirty water. Similar concept here. |

The haze might prove problematic for people like me who use shower filters. The shower might end up dissolving a lot of airborne contaminants into the water.
The solution to that is probably a few sacks of activated carbon in the water stream. Need to be careful with those tho. The carbon grains are like sand and will wreak havoc if they get out of the sack. Happened in my old pond and eventually killed a pump. I was scooping carbon out of the brush chamber for months after the bag burst. |

My old pond use to have tiles but the debris trap in between the tiles make it hard to go into the bottom drain.
I think fiberglass the pond is still the best. IMHO. |
