Default Small / mini chiller

Hello - I'm thinking of getting a chiller for my 2ft tank. Problem is that I have very limited space in my cabinet, maybe 30*30cm to fit the chiller. It seems like the Resun 200 Mini Chiller could fit. Anyone know where I can buy? LFS don't seem to carry anymore.

Any other small / mini size chillers to recommend? Many thanks!

Won't be a good idea to place the chiller in cabinet. They need to be placed in the op will not been so that the exhust heat trapped in the cabinet causing overheat.

The following are commonly available brands and should be available at most LFS. If not, you can order online from certain online LFS as well. Prices best to check with the LFS in question.

Hailea HC-100A (1/20HP) - 33.8cm x 21.8cm x 32.5cm
Hailea HS-28A (1/10HP) - 40cm x 22cm x 35cm
JBJ Mini-Arctica DBI-050 (1/15HP) - 31.5cm x 19.3cm x 35.3cm (converted from inches)
JBJ Arctica DBA-075 (1/10HP) - 41.3cm x 24.5cm x 46.3cm (converted from inches)

Seaview also used to have TEM mini chillers by Dolphin. Not sure about the specs on those.

You can also consider ordering in an Iceprobe from US retailers, but you will need a US plug adaptor, plus it's only enough to chill a 1ft tank.

I have read some negative reviews about dolphin twin fan type of chiller as it uses the ambient temperature. so unless u are in air con room, it doesn't really help. but then again, if you are in air con room, you can do without the chiller..
