Totally agree. I put a few flower pots outside, I get TC people knocking on my door. The following week, I get NEA coming to knock on my door. I dare not even put a tank outside.

[QUOTE=Asia_landscape;8616787]My guppies seem to be doing very well @ outdoor fish tanks.
No death and sickness so far. Anyone have similar experiences too, could it be due to algae? [QUOTE] Nice setup bro. What are the strains of guppy you are keeping ? |

sharing my limited knowledge, if hair algae (which is bad), you have to remove phosphate from the water. For Brown Algae, you have to remove nitrate through WC and having more plants in the tanks. Regular WC to ensure the chemical balance is important, it is also dependend on your fish population and how much feeding you are doing. Hope this helps.

Thanks for all your input.
Always can learn something new from you guys and girls. Hope my new "outdoor" hobby can carry on undisturbed from authorities. I wonder if any of you have a 2ft Wrought Iron fish stand to trade for my 3 items which I dun really need now. pic below: http://www.advertisings.biz/2011/07/...e-for-2ft.html 1) Ocean Free Super Bacteria 8000 for fresh and fresh water - only used abt 20% ,free gift from Qian Hu. 2) H6 Tapeworm Fluke Care (bought at C328 in year 2010 for S$6, haven't open) 3) Shiruba Air pump model SP107 SW - bought in 22 August 2005 - still in good condition. Tested okay can pump water furiously. |
