Wah... when talk about CPF, sound like they more scat compare to losing Aljunied GRC. The latter they still threaten the voters.

CPF is not your money if you cannot use it, period.
It's an IOU to someone who pays your utilities, doctors fees and return you some cash every month many many years later. Most will not see the returns because they die too early. |

To me.......CPF is a bad debt........and they set the rules so that you have no chance to get it but to give up..........

i only know at the rate the minimum sum is increasing, my salary increment cannot keep up. even all my increment dump in also not enough. and what happens when someone reach 55 and cannot meet 50% of the min sum that must be in inside? Why cant i opt to pay off my HDB flat instead of having to downgrade or mortgage my flat to reach the min sum?
and if i myself cannot sustain my own retirement using CPF, and expect my other family members like my sons to help me sustain it, what would happen when their time comes? does't it means the CPF scheme is failed? |

The sad truth is by the time your sons collect their CPF payouts......the original policy makers are all 6 foot under..........it didn't matter to them if the scheme had failed or not........

To me CPF is a force saving program for us to have a roof over head and hospitalisation money when needed. Whatever retired with minimum sum and all those crap is for high earner.

honestly how much is enough for a person ?
10k per month ..draw every month from cpf lor ..wait till dries up, those with children can give parent 10k one month or not first ... if not better draw it down slow ... |
