well guys, let us see how fast it works in my tank.
less we get baffled by overated exageration. somehow, it does give me the impression that it is a gd pdt. but results speak better and as a consumer, i remain neutral in this review.
like all reviews, some factors are casative of different results:
1) differnt brands of test kits
2) differnt amounts of media used
3) or the effect of fluidised reactor
4) or the time of the test.
5) or maybe the expiry of the test kit.

it is better to try it out yorself. the reason i chose this pdt is becos i know rowa will definitely cause rtn to my precious. and this pdt is non metal based as stated on the logo. how true i dun know becos no lab report was given.
enuff said, lets see what happens in tonight's test.

first and foremost, like all corals, sps also has different species.
all species = different levels of care and difficulty of husbandary.

to name a few difficult and sensitive species:
1) A.abrolhensis
2) A.tortusa
3) A.tenuis

these 2 species along w others are considered difficult to keep in the aquarium. in fact, most bushy A. corals give u the most headache.

rowaphos by itself is known to rtn some species/ chk reefcentral. in fact experiment it yourself. also note that rowaphos container prints "shud be used for tank during cycling/ initial tank setup"

sometimes i wonder what is the standard???? (u mean newwater tastes differnt at different locns/ time of day)????

anyway, i have tested for 6th and 7th sept. results are the color is turning slightly lighter.(or isit my imagination)
have to admit, i will need a fr to be fair to comment on the pdt.

till then, i shall not conclude on the effectiveness yet.

u mean u already did some tests on ur top up water n found tat it contain PO4??

there is a chemical lab located near aljunied estate. dunno the exact address. they conduct all sorts of tests. but mainly focus on biological tests. their equipment is very accurate. in fact i got the info from them regarding po4 and impurities in newater.
what impurities, i dare not conclude becos i did not test it myself. i never conclude on things i dun do myself becos it is not ethical at all.
moreover i am not a chemist to start with.

u mean the newater produce by the RO plant??

IMO depending on where you live, our tap water now contains "some" newater as I am pretty sure.

Those staying in North East .. there is a huge newater plant besides the Seletar Reservoir and you can see this along TPE.

anyway, i have got distilled water in my home now. no longer drink frm the tap.

kiasi syndrome. but my tank water is from the tap. aiyah, imo how can newwater compare to the water we buy from overseas?
moreover the water intake is quite high for us. 70% water in our body right???

maybe when i grow rich, i will buy a place near a mountain to drink stream water. and to avoid suspicion and ira investigation, i shall disguise myself as a monk. professional coverup. HAHAHAHAHA
