There are many GC in Japan, but not many of them, (if not none previously), that we can see it live in S'pore...

btw, the other GC kohaku (was it the year before) also arrived in S'pore for the Asia show in early this year.

So the kois did not go back to the respective farms for further grooming anymore or the owners have what the breeders do and they can excercise what they learnt in our climate.

very sorry, once i am intoxicated,i tends to ask many quest. and extremely chatty...

The koi is kept in S'pore (both GC). I think the kohaku went for the recent Jakarta show and won the GC too!

The keeper has a very sophisticated system, which is maintaining high level dissolved oxygen. A lot of discussion were done in the koi forum elsewhere.

Oh yes,i read abt the 50k system somewhere.
So with that he will be able to replicate Jap farms' water quality and bring all his kois back already right?Thats a brilliant solution.

Hi Mark,

I suppose u are back in UK now? Thanks so much for sharing your insights abt Torazo. I was kinda waiting for you to help me out here, cos Torazo is by far my favourite breeder and I have had good results raising 3 pieces of his nisai from last season, and this season, i added 2 more.

Interesting u mentioned "tora" stripes, cos i think one of my sanke has those traditional old school sanke look. I've not posted it here cos it aint so pretty...
