Default Water PH for Goldfish

Hi,I,m new here,may I know what is the ideal PH range for goldfish,thanks.

Our Singapore tap water should range 7.5 - 8 depending on which part of the country you are. So long the pH does not fluctuate too much, it should be okay. Generally, it should not be lower than 6, 6-7 is ok but not prefered, 7-10 ok.

get some coral chips to buffer the ph..

Baking soda also can helps to buffer!

My PH normally reads 7.8 to 8.2, but I guess 8.5 is fine.

However, my observation with alkaline water is that the colour will fade especially for fish that are not full reds.
