Poor performance from many players: Fred, Lindelöf, Pogba, McTominay. Fred's passing was rubbish. Pogba tried to dribble too much and lost the ball, McTominay didn't play well, Lindelöf's passing was bad and instead of heading the ball always lets it bounce first and the opponent is on top of him.
3 of the goals were mistakes. 2nd goal Pogba lost his man. 3rd goal Fred poor pass and Shaw dribbling and lost the ball. 4th goal, Matic dribbled and lost the ball. After United scored the first goal, the pressing disappeared. Very disappointing. |

Isn't football a very strange game. We have always complained about HM not fit to captain the club but ironically his absence last night was greatly missed!! There seems to be no motivation in the team, esp EB after he had been offered his extension stay. He was, to put it bluntly, played a poor game, just like how poorly Fred played too.
And we talk about selling DDG when we clearly see a error prone DH but of course the English media chooses not to highlight his shortfall. Had it been DDG, he would be left to loads of abuses. And what about Ole, he rather play Matic when we are chasing for either a draw (at best) or win (most unlikely) Why leave Amad or DVDB on the bench throughout instead of taking a gamble with them? If we were leading, I can understand his rationale, but losing????? If this trend continues for the new season, the fans would be on Ole's back Last edited by lenghan; 14-05-2021 at 10:13 PM. |

Love Lei's owner celebration with the players.for their FA cup win.
The trust and respect. everyone are in it altogether. Not just at this special moment. |

So typical of our bidding style...trying to make a 40millon bid for Varance is a sheer waste of time. If we are to secure him, which many other clubs would be trying, Woody should be realistic

With Liverpool also keen, looks very unlikely we will win the bidding war as we love to drag our feet, hoping to low-ball

What do you make of this that the Brazil manager has called up Fred to the Brazil squad for the first time since 2018 for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers with Ecuador and Paraguay.

Real Madrid is asking for 60million which in today's market for a world class defender is considered cheap, but we are known low-ballers with Woody still calling the shots. Liverpool would willing come out with this demand so we better act fast

What a wonderful shot by EC to give us a 1-0 lead. Clearance by DDG direct to EC who fired a long range shot into goal!!!

PP iis having a poor game so far. So far SM and Fred playing quite decent game. Tuanzebe is giving a good show too. Other than the wonder goal EC has been starved off any service up front and remains relatively quiet

What a poor goal to concede. Where is the defense???
1-1 so 2nd place not guaranteed. |
