Sharing my joy with everyone!
Today i harvested my very first clutch of eggs from my L46s, with an earlier batch of eggs being eaten away from the papa zebra which was his first time. Couldn't have 2014 start in any better way! Have a great year ahead friends  Special thanks to Boxedfish, Mudget for their constant tips and advice. And Demarko for originally being the one to inspire me with his pleco set ups!

congrats.
the loose one look spolit....you may want to remove the eggs a few more days later. L46 egg is slower to hatch.

My apologies for the bad photo but that's actually a more developed wiggler that had already formed a small body with tail. It's moving around while the others are still clumped together. Thanks for the pointer that they take longer to hatch!

Sadly the male ate the eggs so have to wait for the next spawn. Now really contemplating whether to move all the 21 adults into my 4ft tank. But it will take months for them to settle in again. But I think the tank would look awesome with all the adults in one tank. I'm going to put sand and lots of rocks and create a nice scape for them.

Don't be disheartened man... My male ate the eggs up during the very first spawn as well while i was at reservist.
I think if you want to shift them you should do it now, just after they spawned. Else, if you wait, then they spawn again... it'll be another round of contemplation
