Beef heart for betta

Hi there, saw a youtube video on feeding with beefheart, would like to ask if anyone tried this before? And how would the growth rate be? Will pig heart be the same?
Wouldn't it be nice if we could prepare close to live food for betta but we can mix in the same freezeer as human food, or just mix fbw with human food, also less those bacteria that would cause dropsy...
